Churchdown Male Voice Choir is a very busy and successful choir, performing many concerts a year and raising thousands of pounds each year for local and national charities.

We sing from a wide repertoire; from operatic choruses, to folk, from spirituals to Welsh hymns and from musicals to pop songs. Some items from our current programme well illustrate this diversity - Alexander's Ragtime Band, Aus der Traube in die Tonne, Grand March from Aida, Swing Low, Sweet Chariot, Speed your Journey and a medley of songs from the 60s including The House of the Rising Sun, He aint heavy, he's my brother, Pretty Flamingo, Silence is Golden, etc.

We are always happy to welcome new singers. Age is no barrier, young or old and no audition is required, just a simple voice test to see in which section your voice would be most suitable. A warm welcome is guaranteed and mentors will ease your entry into all aspects of singing with a male voice choir.

Just come along to a practice evening and see how you like us; there is no obligation to stay! We practice nearly every Monday evening from 7:30pm to 9:30pm at the Churchdown Community Centre in Parton Road, Churchdown .

If you wish, you can contact the Secretary Mike Beresford by letter at 12 Meads Close, Bishop's Cleeve, Cheltenham, Glos. GL52 8JX or you can phone or email him (see the contacts page and select Secretary if emailing).
